Management and Planning of Infrastructure Projects

  • Data collection

  • Lot grading including, initial grades, rough grades, inspections and final sign off

  • Drainage and lot grading plan design and review and comments, both urban and rural sites

  • Tile drainage plan review and comments

  • Subdivision and development review and reporting

  • Driveway applications and speck’d culvert sizes

  • Pre-concept plans utility locations

Develop Reports, RFP’s, RFQ’s, Policies and By-Laws

​

  • Develop and improve existing specifications

  • Research and develop new policies and by-laws

  • Prepare both daily, monthly and topic-specific reports

  • Create RFP’s and RFQ’s for bidding opportunities

  • Research and communicate with agencies to ensure policies and procedures are at their highest standard

  • Jointly plan and develop emergency management operations in the event of a drainage emergency such as heavy spring runoff or large rainfall event

  • Disaster Financial Assistance (DFA) guidance

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Meetings, Public Interaction and Maintaining Records

​

  • Attend site tours

  • Attend a variety of meetings

  • Maintain records of internal progress and development

  • Maintain records of all works in progress including contractor information, constituent concerns relating to projects, tool box talks and performance

Training and Management   

​

  • Office and field training of staff and contractors

  • Provide technical training, suggestions, guidance, advice and solutions
